My eyes blinked sleepily towards the red sun. It was the second day of the military training today. We were surrounded by a tense atmosphere at the beginning of each day. After washing ourselves, we swiftly lined up and carried out the activities for the day. Everything was so orderly. Led by the teachers, we came to the School History Museum where the cultural background was undoubtedly profound and amazing. The introduction to Anqing Foreign Language School and the precious objects both recorded the glorious development course of Anqing Foreign Language School. I pondered over time and time again, wondering how many teachers and students have witnessed the great history together. The three-year senior high school life shall be a long march and I am supposed to walk through the long march in the military spirit that I learnt. Even if the journey is 20,000 miles or we shall face countless difficulties and obstacles during the process or maybe I will not make it in the College Entrance Examination, at least I will walk through the long march and keep my resolve. The world is not indebted to anyone who works hard. Stephen Chow’s film once mentioned ‘What difference does an individual make from salted fish if he does not have a dream?’.
The sun declined westward and the stars scattered on the curtain of the night. We entered the School Lecture Hall to attend the national defense lecture. Within nearly an hour, I experienced unprecedented shock. I felt so proud that our country’s defense device was thorough and all aspects were considered. As the saying goes, a country will be destroyed if it does not attach importance to national defense. The country is strong only if the youth is strong. It is because of the cultivation from childhood that our patriotism is formed.
